Onwards

A slow start to 2021, cold dark mornings occasionally enlivened with a magic dusting of frost, or snow. Snow on Saturday

Leftover snow starkly outlining the texture of ploughed fields whilst overhead cirrus clouds till the sky in mimicry of those fields. A Magpie, perched on the highest twig of a leafless blackthorn. Connecting with Landscape

2017 has rolled in with strange weather. One day freezing, the next double digit temperatures. Winter weather alternating with, what feel like, cool English Summer days. Goodness knows how nature will cope with these crazy days.  It has given me chance to get out walking in the hills and at the coast, feeling a connectionContinue reading “Connecting with Landscape”

Calpol and cuddles interrupt work!

Oh Blue Monday, a bug is rampaging round here. Both kids poorly with high temps so I’ve been dispensing medicine and working around them today.
